Examinations for the European Diploma in Pain Nursing

Dear IPS members,

The IPS are delighted to let you know that The European Pain Federation has announced a new award in memory of Prof. Laserina O’Connor. The highest scoring participant in the Examinations for the European Diploma in Pain Nursing will be awarded the Laserina O’Connor prize. 

Laserina was the first nurse elected as President of the IPS (2014-2014). She would tirelessly to promote the IPS and pain management in Ireland, a nurse leader in the development of advanced nursing practice. Laserina sadly passed away in April 2022. 

The deadline for applications for the European Diploma in Pain Nursing is the 28^th February
