Save the Date: Irish Pain Society’s 25th Annual Scientific Meeting

The Irish Pain Society is excited to announce its 25th Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place on Saturday, 18th October 2025, at the University of Galway.

This special milestone event will bring together leading research experts, clinicians, allied health professionals, scientists, early career researchers, and patient representatives to explore and discuss the latest in pain research, management, and education.

What to Expect:

  • Keynote talks from key research leaders across the pain disciplines of basic science, pain medicine, nursing, physiotherapy and psychology
  • Interactive workshops and educational meetings tailored to various pain disciplines
  • Opportunity to present your research as a short oral or poster
  • Opportunity to compete for Pain Research Medals
  • Panel discussion, Q&A and networking

The theme for this years meting is “Pain Management, Research, and Education in Low- and Middle-Income Settings”
