Join the EFIC Research Registry: New Opportunities for European Pain Researchers
The European Pain Federation EFIC is formalising its role in supporting research proposals at both European and international levels. As part of this initiative, they are launching a structured and inclusive process to establish a standing registry of researchers and institutions interested in participating in future funding opportunities.

 

You are invited to participate in one or both of the following pathways:

1. Stay informed

Receive a curated newsletter every two months featuring:

 

  • Highlighted EU and international funding calls relevant to pain research and care
  • EFIC updates on collaborative research efforts

2. Join the EFIC Research Registry

 

Submit a profile to join a general, call-independent registry of individual researchers, research teams, or consortia. This registry will serve as the foundation for matching  European Pain Community members to future funding opportunities.

 

Based on your submission:

  • You may receive calls that match your expertise and strategic interests
  • You may be contacted to explore involvement in EFIC-supported collaborative proposals
  • Profiles will be periodically reviewed and updated to ensure fairness and currency

 

We strongly encourage both individual researchers and institutions to register, as effective collaboration depends on both individual expertise and institutional capacity.

What happens next?

 

Once your profile is submitted:

  • Your submission will be enriched with publicly available data (e.g., publications, funding records)
  • An AI-assisted and expert-reviewed matching process will help identify suitable candidates for future proposals

 

All information will be handled in accordance with EFIC’s Privacy Policy. For participants in collaborative proposals, limited data may be shared with trusted partners solely to support the preparation of the proposal.
